Mix together maple syrup, soy sauce, oil, Gregg's Ground Smoked Paprika and Ground Cumin, lemon zest and juice.
Lay chicken drumsticks in a baking dish in a single layer. Pour over marinade and turn chicken to coat. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 180°C (fan assisted). Roast drumsticks for 30-35 minutes or until chicken is cooked. Turn chicken once or twice during cooking.
Serve with rice, drizzling any remaining sauce over the chicken and rice. Accompany with salad or vegetables on the side.
Chicken can be cooked on the BBQ if wished over a medium heat, brushing the chicken with the marinade during cooking.
Switch It Up
Replace chicken drumsticks with chicken nibbles or thigh cutlets. Adjust cooking time accordingly.
