Method

Step 1
In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onions, garlic, bread crumbs, egg, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and oil. Combine thoroughly and divide into equal portions for your desired patty size. Form into balls and flatten into burger patties
Step 2
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the patties into the pan and cook until they are golden brown on both sides
Step 3
Remove from the pan and transfer to a plate. Repeat with remaining patties. Set aside
Step 4
In the same pan, drain the excess oil until about 2-3 tablespoons remain. Sauté mushrooms in the pan and add your Wattie's Supreme Roast Meat Gravy then bring to a boil, stirring, until the gravy is heated and combined. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper (optional)
Step 5
Plate mashed potato, place patties on top, and pour over the gravy. Garnish with parsley and enjoy!
Gravy Tip :
Step 1
For a more savoury gravy add ½ teaspoon of onion powder, ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder, ground black pepper, and ¼ teaspoon of liquid seasoning
Mix It Up
Step 1
Instead of using ground beef for your patties you could also try a version using ground pork or with cooked salmon. These patties will taste amazing regardless of how you like them made, whether it be baked, grilled or fried
