Chilli Beanz and Beef Gnocchi Bake

A comforting dinner option for cooler months. Gnocchi tossed through a chilli beanz and beef tomato sauce, complete with melty cheese and fresh parsley.

1 Onion, diced
2 Garlic cloves, crushed
1 Carrot, finely diced
2 Celery sticks, finely diced
2 tsp dried Oregano
2 tsp Gregg's Ground Smoked Paprika
450g Beef mince
400g can Wattie's Chilli Beanz Mild or Hot
400g can Wattie's Crushed and Sieved Tomatoes
500g Gnocchi
½ cup grated Mozzarella Cheese
Fresh Parsley leaves, roughly chopped

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C fan bake. Heat a dash of oil in a large oven proof pan and cook the onions, garlic, carrot, celery, oregano and paprika until the vegetables begin to soften. Add beef mince and brown over a high heat, while breaking up with a wooden spoon.
Step 2
Stir in chilli beanz and crushed and sieved tomatoes. Simmer until heated through.
Step 3
Cook the gnocchi according to the packet instructions, then transfer into the mince. Stir to combine, then sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top.
Step 4
Place in the oven to bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Step 5
Garnish with parsley to serve.
