Ingredients

500g boneless chicken thigh fillets, cut into 2cm pieces
1 Tbsp sesame oil
8 bamboo skewers (pre-soaked in water)
Heinz Teriyaki Street Food Sauce
Stir Fry Asian Greens
1-2 cloves garlic, crushed
½ tsp minced ginger
1 bunch Shanghai bok choy, washed.
1 bunch Gai Lan or broccolini, washed.

Step 1
Toss the chicken in the sesame oil.
Step 2
Skewer chicken pieces onto pre-soaked bamboo skewers.
Step 3
BBQ or oven grill over a medium high heat for 10-12 minutes, brushing with Heinz Teriyaki Street Food Sauce during cooking. When cooked remove from the heat and allow to rest for 5 minutes. Serve drizzled with extra Teriyaki Sauce.

Yakitori can be served on steamed Jasmine rice and a side of stir fry Asian greens.

Stir fry Asian Greens
Step 6
Heat a dash of sesame oil in a wok or frying pan. Add the garlic and ginger and stir fry until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Step 7
Add the Bok choy and Gai Lan, adding 1 tablespoon of water and stir fry for 1 minute. Cover pan and cook a further 2-3 minutes until vegetables are crisp tender. Toss through 1-2 tablespoons of the Teriyaki sauce and serve.
