Nice, but I found putting the mince in the tubes a bit messy.

Tasty, but takes a bit of getting the mixture in the tubes.. also cook longer - I would say closer to an hr

Heather's Review | Rating

I used a piping bag to put the mince in the tubes for this delicious dish - easy!

Don't know whats wrong with all these other people, getting messy is FUN and this recipe is YUMMY enough to warrant a bit of handwashing!

Agrees with Jo.. I used a teaspoon to get the mixture in.. my 11 yr old loved helping.. I also added some cheese sauce over the tomato at the end with grated cheese and put back in oven till melted.. this went down a hit in our house..

used instant cannelloni tubes but even after an hour they still weren't cooked-had to have peanut butter sandwiches for dinner lol

Hi Michelle

Sorry that the recipe didn’t turn out as planned. All our recipes are triple tested so I can only suggest the following:
1. Maybe the dish was either too big which meant that the sauce evaporated before the pasta was cooked.
2. The cannelloni tubes need to be only one layer deep.
3. Maybe the oven temperature was too low.
4. Make sure that the cannelloni tubes used were the instant variety

Hope this helps!

This was great! As a student who has to come home straight from uni and hit the books, this was quick, cheap and easy to prepare and chuck in the oven (I read the comments before I made it and put the mince in via an icing bag which was super quick but stained my bag orangey brown...) and really delicious. I put 2 carrots in as courgettes are a little pricier, and even have enough for lunch tomorrow! Thanks for the recipe!

This is a great meal and easy to make, I used a piping bag so no mess at all. I didn't season the meat and I think you need to, and I added cheese sauce. yummy indeed will make again for the family :)

Super easy, but tasty too. Ended up stuffing the mince mixture into the cannelloni with my hands as a fork was far too fiddly. Will definitely be making this again!
