Easy Chilli Bean Dip

Here’s a genius one step chilli bean dip idea – simply purée the can of chilli beans and serve with corn chips for a delicious snack. You can also add the dip to your favourite Mexican dishes like tacos or burritos.

Chilli Beans Mild

To create NZ's top-selling chilli beans we add nourishing red kidney beans to a thick and rich blend of tomatoes, capsicum, onion and chilli powder. The delicious mild flavour is suitable for the whole family.

Method

Step 1
Spoon the Wattie's Mild Chilli Beans into a food processor or blender and pulse until blended but still chunky. Transfer to a microwaveable container or saucepan and heat until warm. Top with a dollop of sour cream and fresh coriander leaves. Serve with corn chips.

Tips

This recipe can be used as a delicious vegetarian nachos topping.
This dip is also delicious added into other Mexican dishes like to tacos, nachos or burritos.
Purée the beans for more time if you want a smoother dip texture.
