Kiwi Vegetable Gratin

Kiwi Vegetable Gratin
Serves 4 Prep Time 5 minutes Cook Time 1 hour (60 minutes)

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, peeled and thickly sliced
  • 650 g bag Wattie’s frozen Kiwi Roast Mix
  • 1 cup cream
  • ½ cup grated cheese
  • ½ cup dried breadcrumbs

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (fan assisted). Place Wattie’s frozen Kiwi Roast Mix in an oven proof dish. Toss the onion slices through the vegetables. Season with a little salt and black pepper. Pour over the cream.

2. Mix the grated cheese and breadcrumbs together and sprinkle over the vegetables. Bake for 60 minutes, until vegetables are tender. If the top is browning too quickly cover with foil. Allow to stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Tips

Omit the cheese and just sprinkle top with breadcrumbs.
