• 400 g pork mince
  • 1 Tbsp fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 1 tsp chilli, finely diced (optional)
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 apple, peeled and grated
  • 400 g packet Wattie’s Frozen High Fibre Mix
  • 125 g pouches Wattie’s WOK Creations Sweet & Sour Stir-Fry Sauce

1. Make meatballs by mixing the pork mince, ginger, chilli, garlic and grated apple together and shaping into about 20 small meatballs.

2. Heat a dash of oil in a non-stick frying pan, add meatballs and cook on a medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove from pan and drain on a paper towel.

3. Add the Wattie’s Frozen High Fibre Mix to the pan and stir fry for 3-4 minutes or until cooked. Return the meatballs to the pan and pour over Wattie’s WOK Creations Sweet & Sour Stir-Fry Sauce and heat for 1-2 minutes before serving on steamed rice.

Made this for dinner tonight, found the meat balls fall apart, maybe there was suppose to be a combining agent in it. Plus there was not enough sause, next time if I make it id buy 2 sachets of the wok creations sweet & sour.

I made this tonight for dinner 05/05/13 and like what Brenda suggested above I added 1 egg to bind the meat and used 2 packets of sauce, This worked very well and I am pleased with the result it was yummy and tasty the ginger came through beautifully nice recipe and very quick to wip up.
