• 750g lean pork shoulder chops
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 210g pouch Wattie’s WOK Creations Teriyaki Stir-Fry Sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp finely grated ginger
  • ¼ cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 Gregg's Whole Star Anise
  • Gregg's Sesame Seeds, toasted (optional)
  • Red chilli, finely chopped (optional)
  • Spring onions, thinly sliced (optional)
  1. Preheat the slow cooker on low. Place the pork shoulder chops into the slow cooker. Scatter over the chopped onion.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together Wattie’s WOK Creations Teriyaki Stir-Fry Sauce, garlic, ginger and orange juice. Pour over the pork. Add the Gregg's Whole Star Anise. Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours.
  3. Remove the pork and pull the meat off the bone using two forks. Remove the star anise from the sauce. Add the pulled pork back into the sauce. Serve over rice. Garnish with toasted Gregg's Sesame Seeds, chopped chilli and thinly sliced spring onions if wished. Serve with your favourite vegetables.

Super easy recipe, love this recipe as I can chuck the pork in the slow cooker before work and come home to a lovely meal. Really yummy too.

Loved this recipe!!! Wondered how the kids would like it and they ate 2 bowls of it!! We paired this with some boiled veg in the rice and hard boiled eggs. As I spent the day busy, it was a gorgeous smell to walk in the back door to!! Looking forward to trying some of the others

Made without star anise - very delicious. Used a small piece of pork shoulder roast - lovely and tender. Very quick and easy to prepare :).

Great tasting and easy recipe. I used a casserole dish and cooked this in the oven instead of the slow cooker to cut the cooking time (2.5hrs). It meant the sauce reduced down to a nice thick consistency. Served the pork in bao with a Japanese slaw and the family loved it, 2yr old daughter demanded another one! Will definitely be making this again. Thanks Watties!!
