1. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
a) By entering this competition entrants accept these terms and conditions. Only entries complying with all the Terms and Conditions are valid.
b) Entry to this competition is open to New Zealand residents 18 years or older as at 24/09/2019 who must have purchased a copy of The New Everyday in paperback - ISBN 9781869714178 – or eBook – ISBN 9781869714239.
c) Employees of Heinz Wattie’s Ltd and Hachette New Zealand Ltd (the ‘Promoters’) and their immediate families, are ineligible to enter.
d) Entry into and participation in this competition is free.
e) There is a limit of 1 entry per receipt of proof of purchase from a New Zealand based retailer. If no proof of purchase can be produced the prize will be redrawn.
2. KEY DATES
The Promotional Period commences at 8am on NZDT on 24th September 2019 and closes at 5pm NZDT on 30th November 2019 (Entry Period). All entries must be received by (5pm) on 30/11/2019. The prize will be drawn and the winner notified by no later than 06/12/2019. The winner will be notified by email with the email address provided in the first instance. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified.
3. HOW TO ENTER
To enter, entrants must do the following during the Entry Period:
a) Register or log in to their existing account on www.foodinaminute.co.nz;
b) Enter their name, address, telephone number, email, where the cookbook was purchased from; and
c) Upload proof of purchase from a New Zealand based retailer.
4. PRIZE DRAWS
a) A draw will be held at Heinz Wattie’s Ltd, Level 3, 2 Nuffield Street, Newmarket, New Zealand at 10am NZDT on 2nd December 2019.
b) The first 5 randomly drawn entries on 2nd December 2019 will win a prize. Winners will be notified no later than 6th December 2019.

The total RRP is $243.51. Heinz Wattie’s reserves the right to substitute for a similar product.
c) Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Prize value is in New Zealand dollars, based on recommended retail prices, include GST and is correct at time of printing. The Promoters and their partners accept no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. If the prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoters reserve the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any directions from gaming authorities. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoters and their partners makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any prizes.
6. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
a) Winners will be notified by email no later than 6th December 2019.
b) If, despite reasonable efforts by the Promoters, a winner cannot be contacted within 2 weeks of the relevant draw, a replacement winner will be drawn from the same entries as the original.
7. PROMOTER DETAILS
The Promoters are Heinz Wattie’s Limited of 513 King St North, Hastings 4122, New Zealand and Hachette NZ Limited of Level 2, 23 O'Connell Street, Auckland 1010.
a) The Promoters will not be responsible for late or misdirected entries and take no responsibility for any entries not correctly lodged.
b) Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions. All decisions of the Promoters are final and no discussions or correspondence will be entered into.
c) Failure by the Promoters to enforce any of their rights under these terms and conditions at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
d) The Promoters reserve the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age, place of residence and proof of purchase). Proof of identification, age, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoters.
e) The Promoters and their associated agencies and companies involved in this competition will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit. Once a prize has left the Promoters' premises, they will not be responsible for any delay or failure to deliver or damage caused to the prize during transit.
f) The Promoters reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who they have reason to believe has breached any of these terms and conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of this competition. The Promoters' legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
g) The Promoters reserve the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize if the Promoters determine, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize.
h) If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters, the Promoters reserve the right, in their sole discretion and to the full extent permitted by law, but subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel this competition as appropriate.
i) Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoters (including their directors, officers, employees and agents) and the Promoters' partners exclude all liability for any loss, damage or personal injury, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of this competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoters' control); any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoters) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters; any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; any prize or participation in or use of any prize.
k) All entries become the property of Heinz Wattie’s and following the draw will be destroyed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. Should the entrant ‘opt in’, the entrant’s contact information will only be used to contact them for the promotional purposes agreed, and will not be shared with outside companies.
