such an easy recipe, i do this in the slow cooker just before work and add dumplings when i get home. I love cheese so I added a cup or maybe two of grated cheese to the dumping recipe and they turned out great!

Cooked this wonderful masterpiece tonight, it was so yummy, hubby said "you can make this anytime". When I was mixing the dumplings I thought it looked to runny, was going to add more flour to thicken. Glad I didnt..Brenda

Wonderful, hearty meal and the dumplings were great to soak up all the juices!! All enjoyed, even the two kids! Awesome meal for winter days!! What size casserole dish though?? My caserole dish seemed too small are I was unable to put all the Wattiew Veges in, and NO WAY I'd fit th dumplings on too!!! So what size casserole dish is best please?? I just cooked the dumplings separately and were still delicious! Highly Reccommend!!

Hi Sarah, you can use a casserole dish that's about 1.5 - 2 litre capacity. Thanks!
