Tortilla Wraps with Creamy Vegetable Spread
Lunches never looked so tasty with these wraps, healthy and delicious. See our tip to use this spread as a dip and make crisp tortilla chips to dip in it.
Ingredients
- 4 cups Wattie's Frozen Romano Mix
- 1/2 cup lite sour cream
- 1/2 cup Heinz Seriously Good Lite Mayonnaise
- 1 packet Bazaar Wholemeal Tortilla Wraps
- 1/2-1 lettuce, shredded
- 1/2 red capsicum, sliced (optional)
- 180g shaved ham or chicken
Tips
This spread also makes a great dip. Cut the Bazaar tortillas into sixteenths and toast in a 200°C oven for a 3-5 minutes or until crisp to serve with the Creamy Vegetable spread.
Method
1. Place Wattie’s Romano Mix vegetables in a microwave-safe dish. Cover and microwave on high for 3-4 minutes. Remove from microwave and drain any excess liquid. Cool slightly.
2. Set 2 cups aside for filling wraps and place 2 cups of vegetables in a food processor or blender with sour cream and mayonnaise. Process until mixed but still with a little texture.
3. Lay Bazaar Wholemeal Tortilla Wraps flat and spread 3 tablespoons of spread on each. Divide the lettuce, capsicum, ham and remaining vegetables between the wraps and roll. Wrap with paper and tie with string. Cut on an angle.
