Steakhouse & Hummus Pita
Lunch or dinner is only minutes away with this recipe. These burger patties take only 2 minutes in the microwave then just pop them into a prepared pita. If you are a hummus fan and you haven’t had a hummus dressing before give this one a go – delicious!

Ingredients
- 200g pottle La Bonne Cuisine Original Hummus
- 1/4 cup lite Greek yoghurt
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 3 large pita breads
- 480g pkt Wattie’s Heat ‘n’ Eat Steakhouse Burger Patties
- lettuce, tomato slices, cucumber slices
Method
1. Make dressing by mixing ¼ cup La Bonne Cuisine Hummus with the yoghurt and lemon juice. Set aside.
2. Cut each pita bread in half and gently open to make a pocket. Spread remaining hummus between the 6 pita halves and fill with salad ingredients.
3. Heat Wattie’s Heat ‘n’ Eat Steakhouse Burger Patties according to the directions on the packet and place in the pita pocket and drizzle with the hummus dressing and serve immediately.
