i love watties baked beans and spaghetti and so does my son.we have them with fried sausages poached eggs and toast, we do the same with saveloys. they are a great mixer with all sorts of meals, and when in a hurry they are so easy they just need to be heated or can be eaten cold
Spaghetti & Baked Bean Pies
Here are some creative ideas with those kiwi favourites Wattie’s Baked Beans and Wattie's Spaghetti. Make them in a pie maker, toasted sandwich maker or in the frying pan.
Cut slices of bread into circles with a large cutter or place entire slice of Nature's Fresh White Toast Bread into preheated pie maker or toasted sandwich maker and fi ll with one of the Wattie’s Spaghetti fillings and top with another slice of Nature's Fresh White Toast Bread . Cook until heated through and golden brown.
Wattie’s Spaghetti , grated courgette, Wattie’s canned Whole Kernel Corn , drained, grated cheese.
Wattie’s Spaghetti , ½ tsp basil pesto, stirred into the spaghetti, diced ham, grated cheese.
Wattie’s Spaghetti , crushed pineapple, diced ham or diced cooked bacon, grated cheese.
Wattie’s Spaghetti , diced salami, grated cheese, sprinkle Italian herbs, diced capsicum, sliced olives if wished.
BAKED BEAN PIES
Make these pies in the same way you made the Spaghetti Pies using Nature's Fresh Multigrain Toast Bread and fill with one of the Wattie’s Baked Bean fillings .
Beat 1 egg in a bowl and dip in 1 piece of bread and quickly coat with egg. Place in pie maker or toasted sandwich maker. Add Wattie’s Baked Beans , cooked diced potato, cooked diced bacon and grated cheese. Dip the second slice of bread in egg and place on top. Cook until heated through and golden brown.
Wattie’s Baked Beans , diced cooked sausage, bacon, ham, salami, grated cheese, Wattie’s BBQ Sauce .
Wattie’s Baked Beans , diced cooked sausage, diced cooked potato, grated cheese, Wattie’s BBQ Sauce .
