  • 3 ½ kg 100% New Zealand Cooked Ham on the Bone
  • 2 oranges, finely sliced
  • 12 (approx) whole cloves
  • 300 g bottle Wattie's Bit on the Side Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • ½ cup dark rum or orange juice

1. Carefully lift the skin from the 100% New Zealand Ham cooked on the bone. To do this, run your clean fingers between the skin and the ham and it will come away easily.

2. Arrange overlapping layers of orange slices all over the ham, securing each orange slice with a whole clove and/or toothpicks if wished.

3. Mix together the Wattie's Bit On The Side Sweet Chilli Sauce and the rum or extra orange juice and brush the orange sliced covered ham liberally with half of the glazing mix.

4. Bring remaining sweet chilli and rum sauce to the boil before serving hot or cold.

To Serve Hot

Bake at 160°C for 10 minutes per 500g, brushing with the glaze every 10-15 minutes.

Glaze Only

Brush liberally with the glaze and bake at 180°C for 35-40 minutes.
