One of the most simple hummus recipes I've seen. I love making my own hummus
Oh so easy and tastes really nice! Who needs to buy it!
I have purchased alot of hummus in the supermarkets I will never have to buy again, very economical and tasty mmm
HOW EASY IS THIS!!!
You could try adding Tahini to the recipe. Most Hummus recipes have tahini (ground seseame seeds -available in the chilled section at the foodstore) in them as well. Try about one teaspoon for this size recipe and go from there with what your taste buds tell you.
This recipe is excellent! Quick, easy, cheap, healthy and tasty. You can't go wrong with this one. It's nice and thick, and makes a good sized portion.
ASPOON OF SWEET CHILLI SAUCE IN HOME MADE HUMMUS IS ALSO REALLY GREAT - GIVES IT THAT LITTLE EXTRA KICK
Thank YOU Thank YOU Thank YOU Thank YOU Thank YOU Thank YOU Thank YOU Thank YOU Thank YOU Thank YOU Thank YOU Thank YOU Thank YOU Thank YOU Thank YOU Thank YOU for the easy recipe
Although Hummus is full of ingredients that are good for you, they are also high in calories. Here is a recipe that is lower in calories: http://followfoodchain.blogspot.com/2011/06/healthy-hummus.html
Fortunately Mick, I'm not so obsessed with calories that a couple of spoons of this delicious hummus would have me haring off for something fat-free. The human body needs 26% fat in the diet or the brain doesn't work properly. I enjoyed this hummus with crudites (slivers of fresh vegetables) and toasted gluten-free bread from Bakeworks.
Delicious!! Though I did add some spring water to get it to the right consistency.
This is a perfect recipe and it keeps it simple as well as unique. I love the fact that Tahini isnt used and would prefer it without that.
