Creamy Mushroom, Turkey and Ham Pasta
Need an idea for using the leftover turkey and ham? This quick and easy pasta dish is the answer. Serve it with a salad on the side and enjoy.
Ingredients
- 200g pasta spirals or penne
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup dry white wine (optional)
- 500g jar Heinz Seriously Good Creamy Mushroom Pasta Bake
- 200g cooked ham, chopped into pieces
- 200g cooked turkey, torn into pieces
- 6 sundried tomatoes, chopped
- handful parsley, chopped
- Parmesan cheese to garnish
Method
1. Cook pasta in plenty of lightly salted boiling water for 10-12 minutes, until al dente (firm to the bite). While the pasta is cooking, prepare the sauce.
2. Heat a dash of oil in a deep frying pan. Add the onion and cook until it begins to soften. Add white wine and boil until it reduces by half.
3. Pour over Heinz Seriously Good Creamy Mushroom Pasta Bake . Add cooked ham and turkey pieces. Heat gently until sauce and meats are hot. Stir in sundried tomatoes.
4. Drain cooked pasta. Add to the hot sauce and stir to mix. Stir in chopped parsley. Serve garnished with shaved Parmesan.
