Chocolate Peanut Cookies

Very easy, very tasty, very kids-in-the kitchen!

Chocolate Peanut Cookies

Ingredients

  • 250g butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup ETA Smooth Peanut Butter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method

1. Preheat oven to 160o C fan bake or 180o C conventional. Beat the butter, brown sugar and sugar until creamy. Beat in the eggs and then the ETA Smooth Peanut Butter.

2. Sift the flour, baking soda and baking powder and stir into the creamed mixture with the rolled oats and chocolate chips.

3. Place large spoonfuls onto baking paper lined trays.

4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly browned. Cool on the tray. If wished decorate with melted chocolate.

Store in an airtight container.

Made the recipe this afternoon, they are yummy , wsa tempted to double recip but glad i didnt as it made 34 decent sized biscuits. I used extra cruncy peanut butter instead of smooth and it turned out awesome, the extra crunchy gave a great extra texture. Will definitely make again.
