Chicken and Chilli Bean Pita Pockets
Made with Wattie's Chilli Beans , these Chicken and Chilli Bean Pita Pockets are a good source of protein, high in fibre and iron and low in fat.

Ingredients
- 4 pita breads
- 1 Tegel double chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp minced fresh ginger
- 420g can Wattie's Chilli Beans (Mild)
- 1-2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
- 4 Pita Bread
- a few salad ingredients for 4
Method
1. Cook the Tegel chicken in a hot pan in a dash of oil with the ginger until just cooked. Sprinkle in the coriander and season with salt and pepper if wished.
2. Heat the Wattie's Chilli Beans and then divide evenly among 4 warmed and split medium pita breads.
3. Top with a few salad ingredients like lettuce leaves, sliced tomato and the hot pan fried chicken.
