Cheese and Onion Potato Slice
Layers of potato, onion, red capsicum and creamy sauce, baked and cut into wedges.
Ingredients
- 410g can Wattie's Sour Cream & Chive Potato Bake Sauce
- 3 eggs
- 15g butter, melted
- 1 tsp crushed garlic
- 500g potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 red capsicum, deseeded and diced
- 3 spring onions, trimmed and finely chopped
- 100g salami, finely sliced
- 1/2 cup smoked cheddar
Method
1. Preheat oven to 180o C. Beat together the Wattie's Sour Cream & Chive Potato Bake Sauce and eggs.
2. Butter the inside of a 6-cup-capacity oven-proof dish and scatter over the garlic.
3. Spread half the pasta bake sauce and egg mixture over the dish. Layer the potatoes, red capsicum, spring onions and salami in the dish, finishing with a layer of the remaining pasta bake mixture.
4. Sprinkle over the smoked cheddar.
5. Bake for 50 minutes until the potatoes are tender. Cool and serve cut in wedges.
