Found the butter chicken too mild, not really tasty. I would swap the yogart for sour cream just to try and make it tastier.
Butter Chicken Wraps
Butter chicken is now one of NZ’s favourite flavours and here we add it to a wrap for a quick & easy meal for 2. This recipe can be easily doubled if you need to and remember you can freeze the extra tortillas for the next time.
Ingredients
- 200g Tegel Thin Cut Chicken Breast
- 410g can Wattie's Big Eat Butter Chicken
- 2 tortilla wraps
- 1/4 cup plain unsweetened yoghurt
- lettuce leaves
- 1/4 red onion, peeled and sliced
Tips
If you have left over rice, stir this though the sauce.
Method
1. Heat a dash of oil in a non-stick frying pan and pan-fry Tegel Thin Cut Chicken Breast for 3-5 minutes or until cooked through. Stir through the Wattie’s Big Eat Butter Chicken and cook for a further 2 minutes or until warmed through.
2. Spread the yoghurt over the wraps, top with the butter chicken mix, lettuce and onion.
3. Roll up and serve as a light meal.
