Ingredients

  • 300 g lean beef mince
  • 1 onion, peeled and diced
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • ½ cup diced celery
  • ½ cup diced mushrooms
  • 1-2 tsp ground cumin
  • 420 g can Wattie's Chilli Beans Mild
  • 420 g can Wattie's Condensed Extra Rich and Thick Tomato Soup
  • salt and pepper to season

Method

1. Brown the beef and onions in the hot oil in a lidded frying pan.

2. Add the garlic, celery, mushrooms, cumin and cook for one minute.

3. Stir in the Wattie's Chilli Beans Mild and Wattie's Condensed Extra Rich and Thick Tomato Soup. Cover and simmer gently for 25-30 minutes until the beef and vegetables are tender.

4. Serve over a baked potato, to fill tacos, roll up in a burrito or wherever you’d like a tasty mince topping.

Tips

For a vegetarian option use 600-700g evenly diced pumpkin or pumpkin and carrot.
