Feeding Baby

Bookmark and Share

Having a new baby in the family is an exciting and rewarding time. Among everything else, feeding your baby is a one of the most important challenges that will present itself in during the first year.

This is the stage of your baby’s life, when the most significant changes in feeding behaviour will happen. Initially your baby will learn how to feed from the breast or bottle. Around 6 months (not before 4 months), baby will progress from having a purely milk based diet to learning how to take solid foods. Then as baby becomes a toddler- around 12 months of age, he/she will progress to family style foods, and will learn to eat with the rest of the family.
